I write a journal and diary by hand every day. Sundays are the Sabbath and a day of rest for me when possible. This is when I do my video diary entry.
Ladies and gentlemen, ladies or gentlemen, welcome, welcome, welcome to my video diary for 1 June, 2025. I’ve had a great week; I finished off my five-month stay at the Sunshine Coast Health Center in Powell River, British Columbia, where I was focused entirely on my mental health: bipolar I, post-traumatic stress, attention deficit, and substance abuse disorder. I was treated and medicated for my condition with professional efficiency and support. The doctors, nurses, occupational therapists and support staff were excellent and helped me achieve wellness. I am proud to say that I am an alcoholic, drug addict with bipolar disorder; however, I don’t drink alcohol, take illegal drugs or enter manic episodes thanks to my prescribed medication. I’ve changed my name from Stephen Boudreau to Stephen Edward Boudreau and can say I’m a whole new person.
My father and stepmother have set up a bachelor suite in their basement here in Edmonton, providing me with private accommodation while they're nearby for support, and it’s fantastic. This week is all about setting up my routine. I’m back into fitness and will be at the gym every morning this week, followed by a hot yoga session. In the evenings, I’ll be attending the Edmonton chess club and anonymous support meetings, which will connect me with others who share similar interests. I have several projects underway; however, this week and until I’m satisfied, I have decided to focus on my Photography Brief and have already started working on it. I want to learn how to use the Sony a6000 camera and Adobe software so I can get the most out of it. That’s it for this week. This is Stephen Edward Boudreau standing by channel 8 and 16. Out.
