I write a journal and diary by hand every day. Sundays are the Sabbath and a day of rest for me when possible. This is when I do my video diary entry.
Ladies and gentlemen, ladies or gentlemen, welcome, welcome, welcome to my first video diary, Sunday, May 11th, 2025. I got my Sony A6000 camera this week and just started getting to know it. I have to learn much about videography and photography to use it properly, so I’m using my MacBook for now. Back in the day, you would need a whole movie studio to do the things this camera can do. I will film my diary, radio broadcast footage, audition scenes, karaoke, scripted voice and other artistic works with this Sony camera.
The aim or objective is to get noticed and see if I have the talent to be cast as “Bond, the sexist man, on the face of the planet” or be the lead singer of a band I’m starting named King. “Imagine all the people, living for today, ah haia”. I know, I know I have to work on the singing and acting, and I know that I am an alcoholic and a drug addict with mental health issues, but through therapy, I am well, and I have a plan to stay that way. If you haven’t had a chance, please check out my website and go to the about section, then click plan to see what I’m working on.
As it stands, I am finishing up my Seb brief. After I post it, I will move on to my chess plan and follow-up brief. When that is complete, I’m diving into the “Moccasin 97 plan and brief, a deep dive into the stereotype of First Nations in Canada. To raise awareness through education by using humour, I will play DJ repeat, his Stephen Deerpenis hosting Drive-Time on Moccasin 97, a play on Brocket 99. Brocket 99 is from the Wayne Gretzky era, and Moccasin 97 is from the Connor McDavid era on the Moccasin Reservation.” If you don’t know who those people are, they are famous athletes who played ice hockey in Northern Alberta, Canada, home of the fictional reservation. If you have not read the vision statement, please do so on my home page.
That’s it for today, lots more coming soon. This is Stephen Edward Boudreau, Seb, standing by channel 8 and 16, out.
Ladies and gentlemen, ladies or gentlemen, welcome, welcome, welcome to my Video Diary for Sunday, 18 May 2025. It’s been a busy week, I posted my brief, chess brief and some South Park scenes. I have been journaling frequently and consistently generating new ideas. I remembered that I had heard somewhere that a game called Magic: The Gathering is considered the most complicated game in the world, and I used to play it, but I wasn’t competitive. Now I’m diving into it, utilizing military training, planning, and execution. The strategy game has five formats: Vintage, Legacy, Modern, Pioneer and Standard. From oldest to newest, and I’ve decided to focus on Vintage, the oldest format and Standard, the newest one. I’m excited to explore this strategic interest, including the potential to stream it on Twitch in the future.
My days now include fitness, Bible study, chess study and play, Magic: The Gathering study and play, journaling, and listening to AC/DC, in addition to medical activities such as appointments and medication management, as well as support through group or individual therapy. Sobriety first, connection always.
Magic, in addition to dice and board games, keeps my mind active and away from addictive thinking. I’ve posted a plan on the Vintage format of Magic: the Gathering and will work on the brief this week. I still haven’t had a chance to play with my Sony A6000, but it’s on my list of things to do. I’m back in the gym after a few years and excited to see where my fitness journey takes me. I’m prioritizing it. I’ll be home in Edmonton in two weeks and plan to work out and attend hot yoga six days a week. I’ll also colour the grey out of my hair. Sundays are reserved for Church and rest, in addition to my regular medical and support schedule. This has been a good week. To wrap up, I’ll post a Vintage Magic brief, a Standard Magic plan and brief, a South Park scene and begin working on the Moccasin 97 plan. I can’t wait to play DJ Repeat, his Stephen Deerpenis is ready to rock the reservation. Stephen Edward Boudreau, out.
Ladies and gentlemen, ladies or gentlemen, welcome, welcome, welcome to my video diary for 25 May 2025. I’m a little stuffed up, but I’ll battle through it. It’s my daughter Eva Belle Boudreau’s ninth birthday today, and I’ve seen her very little since her fifth birthday on this day in 2021, four years ago. Even before that, I didn’t see her very much due to my military deployments, denial about my mental condition, introversion and ignorance.
I am working diligently to correct this. I am estranged from her and my ex-wife, Robyn, due to my battles with mental illness: bipolar I, attention deficit, post-traumatic stress and substance abuse disorder. Robyn wants to be certain I am well before I have contact with her, much less my daughter, which I understand, and I agree with completely.
I know my daughter won’t see this today, but if you’re watching this when you're older, please understand that I do want to be around and that your mother had to take my medical issues seriously and have me tackle them independently. After years of denial, with many ups and downs. I can finally say I am well, have a plan, support, and goals to be by your side one day.
Here we go:
A one, two, three, a four…
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday dear Eva
Happy Birthday to you
From good friends and true
Form old friends and new
May gods luck run through you
And happiness, too.
How old are you now?
How old are you now?
I sing this song sadly.
It’s for you, Robbie, too.
This is Stephen Edward Boudreau standing by channels eight and sixteen. Out.
